Confirmed COVID-19 Positive Case at Italo-Canadian Club Wedding Reception, Kingston
Kingston—Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case at Italo-Canadian Club, 1174 Italia Lane, Kingston.
KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended the wedding reception at Italo-Canadian Club on Saturday, November 20 from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. get tested immediately, and isolate until they receive a negative test result. Those in attendance who were unvaccinated (e.g., patrons under 12 years of age and those with a medical exemption) must isolate until Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.
