Confirmed COVID-19 Positive Case at Muddy Waters Restaurant, Verona
Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case at Muddy Water Restaurant, 6557 Road 38, Verona.
KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended Muddy Water’s on Sunday, October 31, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (noon) to self-monitor for symptoms for 10 days.
KFL&A Public Health also recommend that individuals affected by this exposure get tested on or after seven days from the exposure date (November 7, 2021).
As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.
