Confirmed COVID-19 Positive Case Travelled on Kingston Transit
Kingston – Today, Dr. Piotr Oglaza, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms a COVID-19 positive case travelled on Kingston Transit bus route 501.
- Monday, November 1: Route 501 departing Cataraqui Centre Transfer point at 2:00 p.m. until arriving at Princess Street (south side) at the Kingston Centre at 2:15 p.m.
KFL&A Public Health is unable to identify all riders on these routes and is issuing a public notice to assist with contact tracing.
This is a low risk of exposure to the public; however, if you travelled on this route during the listed date above, monitor yourself for new or worsening signs and symptoms related to COVID-19 until November 11, 2021 (10 days after last possible exposure) and seek testing on or after November 8, 2021.
If you are currently experiencing symptoms, self-isolate immediately, and seek an appointment for testing at the COVID-19 Community Assessment Centre.
