Confirmed Positive COVID-19 Case at Miss Bao Restaurant Kingston
Kingston – Today, Dr. Kieran Moore, Medical Officer of Health at KFL&A Public Health confirms that a patron was a COVID-19 positive case at the Miss Bao Restaurant, 286 Princess St. Kingston.
KFL&A Public Health recommends that individuals who attended Miss Bao Restaurant on Saturday, March 13, between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. Individuals who develop symptoms should isolate immediately and get tested at one of our local assessment centres.
KFL&A Public Health also recommends that individuals affected by this exposure get tested on or after 7 days from the exposure date (March 20, 2021).
As part of the COVID-19 case management and contact tracing process, KFL&A Public Health follows up with close contacts of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. If the contact tracing team are unable to identify close contacts of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, a public release may be issued to reach those contacts.
