KFL&A Board of Health Elect Chair and Vice-Chair for 2017
Kingston -The KFL&A Board of Health has elected Mayor Denis Doyle as Chair and Mr. Wess Garrod as Vice-Chair as its officials for 2017.
“I am very honoured that my colleagues on the Board of Health have elected me as Chair for 2017,” said Mayor Denis Doyle. “I am looking forward to working with them, and our very professional and capable staff, to deliver effective public health programs, to ensure that the level of health enjoyed by the residents living in Kingston, and across the Counties of Frontenac and Lennox and Addington is as high as possible”
Mayor Doyle has served on the Township Council of Frontenac Islands since 2006, and was elected as Mayor of Frontenac Islands in 2010, and re-elected in 2014. As mayor, he also is a member of the Council of the County of Frontenac, which he represents on the Board of Health. Mayor Doyle has been very active in the Wolfe Island Medical Clinic over the past six years, and sits on the board that governs the Frontenac Paramedic Service and the Fairmont Senior Care Home.
