Thousands of students will gather to run the final kilometre of their race

Kingston— Over 2700 students from 19 schools in the Limestone District and the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Boards have set a personal running goal and are set to run the final leg of their race. 

On Wednesday, May 17 and Thursday, May 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., students will gather on CaraCo Home Field in Kingston to complete the final kilometre of their marathon (42.2 kilometres) or half marathon (21.1 kilometres). 

Media are invited to attend this event. Lara Peterson, Physical Activity Specialist for KFL&A Public Health and Limestone District School Board, will be available for interviews during the event.
