Walk On program starting this month
KFL&A Public Health, in partnership with the City of Kingston and the Limestone District School Board, is offering a free, safe and social indoor walking program for people of all ages to increase their physical activity.
The Walk On program aims to increase physical activity for residents of KFL&A through free access to indoor walking opportunities throughout winter. Walk On is led by trained volunteers and offers a safe, social and accessible walking environment for people of all ages and fitness levels. The program is free, and no registration is required.
Walks will be held at the following locations:
INVISTA Centre
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 9 to 10 a.m.
Memorial Centre
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - 9 to 10 a.m.
Perth Road Public School
Tuesday and Thursday - 5 to 6 p.m.
Napanee District Secondary School
Tuesday and Thursday - 5 to 6 p.m.
Rideau Heights Community Centre
Tuesday and Thursday - 10 to 11 a.m.
Wednesday - 4 to 5 p.m.
