Who can order naloxone or harm reduction supplies from KFL&A Public Health?

KFL&A Public Health can provide naloxone and harm reduction supplies to KFL&A area

• Organizations enrolled as Needle Syringe Program (NSP) or Ontario Naloxone Program (ONP) satellite distribution sites to provide to their clients,
• Fire & rescue, police and St John Ambulance services enrolled as ONP emergency response sites for workplace use,
• Individuals experiencing barriers to getting harm reduction supplies. This includes take-home naloxone if they or loved one are at risk of opioid poisoning.

KFL&A Public Health cannot provide

• naloxone to anyone for workplace use other than ONP emergency response sites listed above,
• naloxone or harm reduction supplies to KFL&A area organizations not enrolled as ONP or NSP distribution sites,
• naloxone or harm reduction supplies to anyone outside the KFL&A area.

How to order

NEW! Community organizations and pharmacies

Preauthorized Ontario Naloxone Program (ONP) and Needle Syringe Program (NSP) sites in KFL&A now order supplies by logging in to a customized product showroom. Information was sent to the main contact at sites including instructions and an email invitation to set up a password. A link to the showroom is emailed when the password is set up. To place an order, use your organization’s link and login information to access your showroom. If you need help accessing the showroom or placing your order, please contact us. Please do not order via the ordering link for individuals or share your organization’s link or login information with others.

Individuals

Visit Ontario Harm Reduction Programs to find where to access harm reduction supplies, harm reduction programs and dispose of your used supplies safely in our area.

If you cannot access harm reduction supplies including take-home naloxone, place an online order. You will need to provide a first name and address. If you have questions or need help placing your order, reach out to us by email.
